Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Event Horizon Apps LLC ("Event Horizon Apps," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our website at eventhorizonapps.com and the applications and games we offer (each an "App," and together with the website, the "Services").

The short version

  • Our apps store your data on your device. We don't copy it to our servers.
  • We don't run our own accounts. Where an app offers sign-in, it uses Sign in with Apple, and Apple — not us — manages it.
  • This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers.
  • We don't sell your personal information. We don't have a store of personal information to sell.
  • Some apps may show ads or offer purchases handled by third parties (such as ad networks and the app stores), which have their own policies. We tell you which apps do this in each app's store listing.

Who we are

Event Horizon Apps LLC is a software studio based in Iowa, United States. For privacy questions, you can reach us at info@eventhorizonapps.com. Our mailing address is [REGISTERED BUSINESS ADDRESS — to be added once the LLC is filed].

This website

  • No personal data. This website does not ask for or collect personal information, and it does not use cookies or third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
  • Hosting logs. Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery providers may automatically log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site, and is not used to identify you.

Data in our apps stays on your device

Our current apps are designed to keep the content you create — your counts, notes, timers, settings, game progress, and similar data — on your device. We do not upload that data to our servers, because for these apps we don't operate servers that store your personal content. If you delete an app, the data it stored on your device is removed with it (the app store may keep backups under its own policies).

Sign in with Apple

Some apps may let you sign in using Sign in with Apple. When you do, Apple handles authentication. We use it only to recognize that you are a returning user of the app; we do not pull in, store on our servers, or sell the information associated with your Apple account. If Apple provides a private relay email address, we use it only to respond to you if you contact us. Your use of Sign in with Apple is also governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

App store accounts and purchases

Our apps are distributed through third-party app stores, currently the Apple App Store and Google Play. Any account, download, payment, subscription, or in-app purchase is created and processed by that app store under its own terms and privacy policy. We never receive or store your full payment details (such as card numbers). We may receive limited, aggregated, or non-identifying information from the app stores — for example, download and sales counts or anonymized crash reports — to understand and improve our apps. We do not use this to identify individual users.

Subscriptions, in-app purchases, and ads

Our apps use different models. Some are free, one offers a subscription, and one offers a one-time purchase or is supported by ads. Where an app:

  • Offers a subscription or in-app purchase, billing is handled by the app store, not by us. We receive transaction confirmation and aggregate sales data, not your payment information.
  • Displays ads, those ads may be served by third-party ad networks. To show and measure ads, an ad network may collect device identifiers, approximate location, and usage data under its own privacy policy. We disclose ad-supported apps in their store listings and privacy "nutrition" labels, and we honor the app-tracking and personalized-ads choices offered by your device and the app store.

If we introduce analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or other data-collecting features in a future app, we will update this policy and the relevant app's store privacy label before or when that app ships.

Information you choose to give us

If you email us or contact us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to respond to you and to keep a record of the request.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the Services (such as our website host), with the app stores and any ad networks described above under their own policies, or where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users or the public.

Data retention

Because app data lives on your device, you control its retention by keeping or deleting the app and its data. For information you send us (such as support emails), we keep it only as long as needed for the purpose it was provided and then delete or anonymize it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information under our control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Apps directed to children will follow the additional requirements of the applicable app store and of laws such as the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Where our apps are available

Some of our apps are available only in the United States, while our games may be offered globally through the app stores. Regardless of where you use our apps, the on-device approach described above applies. If you use the Services from outside the United States, you understand that any limited information we do receive may be processed in the United States.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the use of your personal information, to opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we hold very little personal information, the most direct way to control app data is to manage or delete the app on your device. To make a rights request about information we hold, email info@eventhorizonapps.com, and we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not charge you or deny you service for making a request.

Do Not Track

Our website does not track users across sites, so it does not respond differently to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

Third-party links and services

The Services may link to or rely on third-party sites and services (such as the app stores, Apple's sign-in, and any ad networks) that we do not control. This policy does not apply to them, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
