Zumble Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Event Horizon Apps LLC ("Event Horizon Apps," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with Zumble (the "App"). It applies specifically to this App; for our studio-wide practices, see our studio Privacy Policy.

The short version

  • Your scores stay on your device, with an optional iCloud copy so they follow you between your own devices. We don't run servers that store your data, and we don't collect personal information.
  • Zumble is free and ad-supported. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which collects your device's advertising identifier and information about the ads you see.
  • iOS will ask whether you allow tracking. Declining costs you nothing — the game plays exactly the same.
  • A one-time Zumble Premium purchase removes the ads and unlocks Minigames Mode.
  • You can reach us any time at info@eventhorizonapps.com.

Information Event Horizon Apps collects

Event Horizon Apps operates no server for Zumble and collects no personal information about you. There is no account and no sign-up. Your scores and progress — best score, Daily Challenge score, streak and attempts, and your per-minigame personal bests — are kept on your device by iOS and are never sent to us.

Information handled by our advertising provider, and by Apple's Game Center and iCloud, is described under Advertising, Game Center, and iCloud below.

Advertising

Zumble is supported by ads served through Google AdMob: an optional rewarded video you can watch to continue a run or earn an extra Daily Challenge attempt, and a full-screen ad before a bonus minigame.

To serve, measure, and prevent fraud in those ads, Google collects information from your device, including your advertising identifier (IDFA), advertising data (which ads you saw and whether you interacted with them), product interaction data that its SDK observes while serving ads, and general technical information such as device model, OS version, and coarse location inferred from your IP address.

Google handles this data as an independent third party under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Zumble also includes Apple's SKAdNetwork, which lets advertisers measure whether an ad led to an install without identifying you individually.

Tracking and your permission

When you first open Zumble, iOS asks whether you allow the app to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies — Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

  • If you allow it, your advertising identifier is shared with Google and may be used for personalized ads and for tracking across other companies' apps and websites.
  • If you decline, the identifier is not made available for that purpose and the ads you see are non-personalized.
  • Either way the game is identical — no buzz, minigame, or feature is withheld.

You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Purchases

Zumble offers one optional in-app purchase, Zumble Premium, which permanently removes ads and unlocks Minigames Mode. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never see or receive your payment details.

Game Center

Zumble integrates with Apple's Game Center so you can compare your Daily Challenge score on a leaderboard. It is optional — if you don't sign in, no scores are submitted anywhere.

If you are signed in, your scores may be submitted to Apple's Game Center leaderboards. That feature is provided and operated by Apple, and the data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. Event Horizon Apps does not receive your Apple ID, name, email, or other personal identity information through Game Center. You can manage or disable Game Center at any time in your device's Settings.

iCloud

So your scores follow you between your own devices, Zumble stores a small amount of progress data — best score, Daily Challenge score, streak and attempts, and per-minigame bests — in Apple's iCloud key-value store for your Apple Account. This is storage provided and operated by Apple; the data goes to your own iCloud account, not to us, and we cannot read it. It is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.

If you turn iCloud off for Zumble in your device's Settings, the App keeps your scores locally instead and everything still works.

Third parties

Google AdMob is the only third-party SDK in Zumble that collects data for its own purposes; aside from that, the App uses only Apple's own frameworks, including Game Center and iCloud as described above. Zumble includes no analytics or crash-reporting SDK. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone beyond the providers named above — we never receive it ourselves.

Data retention and deletion

Progress the App creates lives on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your own iCloud account. Deleting the App removes the local copy; you can remove the iCloud copy by deleting Zumble's data in Settings → [your name] → iCloud. We hold no copies.

Your choices and rights

  • Decline tracking at the prompt, or turn it off later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Buy Zumble Premium to stop seeing ads.
  • Skip Game Center — don't sign in, and no scores are submitted anywhere.
  • Turn off iCloud for Zumble to keep progress only on the device.
  • Delete the App to remove all locally stored progress.

To make a request about information we hold, email info@eventhorizonapps.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Children's privacy

Zumble is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children, is not part of Apple's Kids Category, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children, including children under 13. Because the App is ad-supported, we recommend that parents of younger players either use the Zumble Premium purchase or manage advertising and tracking through iOS Screen Time and Privacy & Security settings. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
